GKN Walterscheid Agritech Components (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (WAC) officially started operation in a new workshop in the Minhang District of Shanghai in March 2006, and was the first wholly owned GKN Company in China starting from a green field site. The registered capital of WAC is USD 560, 000. Its main products are PTO Shafts, joints for PTO shafts and gearboxes. Major customers include GKN Walterscheid GmbH in Lohmar Germany, GKN Walterscheid Inc. In Woodridge USA, and the GKN OffHighway Sales & Distribution division. Production capacity is 200, 000 PTO shafts a year, and revenue is expected to reach 70 million RMB by 2010.
