Our company, GuangDong Kingtec Electrical Co., Ltd. is a privately owned company located in Wuhua County, which is part of Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, China.
Until the company's privatization in September 2003, the factory was originally known as Guangdong Province Wuhua Automobile Electrical Equipment Main Factory, which was established in 1969. With over thirty (30) years experience; The factory produced over 100 types of starters and alternators under the brand name of Lotus Flower.
After the privatization in September 2003, a reorganization of the company by Mr. Soddy Huang was effected. The building of new facilities after the reorganization, and Guangdong Kingtec Electrical Co., Ltd. Is now ready to produce other brands of starters and alternators aside from Cummins, Steyr, Deutz.
The company invested Fifteen Million U. S. Dollars to set-up modern, state of the art machineries to create the modern factory that it has today. The new facilities are located 6 kilometers from the downtown area of Wuhua County in an area of 20, 000 square meters. Currently there are 6 main buildings, which include offices, production areas as well as housing facilities for the work force. At the present time, there are 800 employees WHO work on a full time basis.
Wuhua County was chosen for the factory site due to the proximity to Meizhou City, which has the Customs offices, Inspection Bureau, Quarantine Bureau offices in the city to facilitate the import and export of products from the region. Moreover, the Meizhou people (the locals), have a time honored custom of reading and are normally better educated. Local training centers abound which is credited for the qualified technicians, management personnel and other work force related positions that are much needed in a factory of this caliber.
Aside from the work force, Meizhou and the entire Guangdong province have invested heavily in digital telecommunications as well as express mail service to handle the fast paced communications of today's business world.
