In accordance with the requirement of the Laws of Maritime Traffic Safety, the Rules and Regulations and the international conventions on preventing international sea waters from pollution, i. e. MARPOL 1973/78 clauses and its amendments and the related Chinese Laws and Rules and Regulations of pollution prevention in China, i. e the P. R. C law of environmental protection, the P. R. C law on the prevention and control of water pollution, the P. R. C law on the protection of the marine environment, the Regulations of environmental control and administration on preventing marine pollution from the sea, the specific provisions on the prohibition of dumping of garbage, the prohibition of the discharge of toxic liquid substances, the prohibition of pollutant discharge in the protected area of drinking water, the prevention of overflow and leakage of Shipborne goods, Regulations on emergency preparedness and emergency disposal of marine pollution in People's Republic of China, Discharge Standard- GB3552-2018 for water pollutants from Ship, ships shall obtain an Emergency Response Coverage and their crew members shall familiar with the Emergency Response Plan. Basing on this, Ship owners/operators shall finalize an OSRO agreement of Oil Fences and Oil Spill Response with qualified ship pollution response organization (SPRO) for their fleet. The OSRO contract needs to be finalized prior to ship arrival at Chinese exclusive economic zone (EEZ). Shanghai Highwoods Ship Co., Ltd. is an authorized first class OSRO agent for and on behalf of OSROs providing oil spill response operation (OSRO) coverage service at China all ports. To meet the requirement of preventing sea waters from Pollution and the requirement of Quick Response whenever ship facing Emergency conditions, Shanghai Highwoods Ship Co., Ltd. is maintaining Maritime qualified resources, including port reception facilities at China all ports and always happy to assist ship owners/operators to fix all related maritime operations and services as soon as possible.
