Changsha Chaint Robotics Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Sinolight Corporation (a central state-owned enterprise under SASAC (Stated-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council); HTTP: //www. Sinolight. Cn/). Since its establishment, by virtue of its strong power in R&D, design and abundant experiences in advanced equipment manufacturing and management, CTR has grown into a well-known leading integrator in industrial robotics and automatic solutions.

CTR gained wide recognition from customers both at home and abroad by successfully developing various products concerning robotic flexible welding assembly, whole process casting assembly, truss mechanical arm, and intelligent logistics production line. Till 2011, CTR has provided automatic solutions for plenty of renowned equipment manufacturing companies, including SAIC Motor Corp, Dongfeng Honda, Dongfeng Motor, Geely Automobile, Yuchai Group, Dongfeng Electric Machinery, Chongqing Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd, CSR, China CNR, SANY and Shantui Construction Machinery. CTR's intelligent logistics production line has exported to many countries and regions, including Taiwan, Indonesia and Vietnam, with engineering projects totaling over 300.

CTR boasts a group of well-qualified technicians. Till the end of 2011, CTR has more than 370 staff members, among which 210 more are technical staff and 50% owns intermediate or upper titles. Ten of them are senior engineers at professor level. Two of them enjoy honorary premium by the State Council of China. One of them is SASAC worker model and three of them are PM experts who have gained the PMP certificates approved by American Project Management Institute (PMI).

CTR has established in-depth cooperation relationship with domestic and overseas R&D institutes. The academician workstation jointly founded by Tsinghua University and CTR is committed to develop welding robots and relevant intelligent vision products. By collaborating with Hunan University, Shenyang University of Technology and RWTH Aachen, CTR participates actively in tackling key problems in science and technology.
