COWIN GLOBAL is a privately owned enterprise established 2002 by a headstrong team of entrepreneurs. Taking note of global competition in the manufacturing world and the pressure put on companies to cut costs without compromising quality, the founders of COWIN GLOBAL have taken advantage of low cost production opportunities in China.

The Group established it's first Chinese office in November 2003 in Qingdao, Shandong province. The office's initial purpose was to monitor quality and deliveries for various industrial projects. The positive response from clients and the results on increased qualitative deliveries lead us to extend the office's activity into broader Chinese industrial sourcing from early 2004. In the fall of 2005, after a year and half of successful sourcing missions for prominent Scandinavian clients in the logistics and light equipment industries, COWIN GLOBAL decided to further broaden its business concept and to develop its own industrial park through the acquisition of a substantial piece of industrial land in Qingdao.

Our six years of manufacturing experience in China, from sourcing to own production, allow us to pinpoint what is needed to provide high quality and cost efficient solutions. We have accumulated the knowledge and resources to tackle the complicated task of setting up quality production in China and we are confident that we have a solution for your production and procurement needs.

COWIN GLOBAL is a Hong Kong registered group operating wholly owned factories in China and client service offices in New York, London, Stockholm and, Beijing. Our services range from high quality and volume metal equipment manufacturing, in-house surface treatment technology and third party sourcing from a carefully narrowed list of local suppliers. We currently employ over 650 employees in Asia, Europe and the United States.
Our 50, 000 m2 manufacturing workshops are designed for optimised production efficiency, safety and working environment. Our bright, open and well ventilated workshops are equipped with modern automatic and semi-automatic machinery that are organised in an efficient logistic workflow encompassing the following processes:

* Tooling, prototyping and maintenance workshop
* Material reception, inspection, cleaning and storage
* Material preparation: cleaning, sorting, testing, loading
* Wire processing: alignment, polishing, bending, chamfering and cutting
* Tube processing: pressing, punching, bending, tapping, drilling, cutting
* Sheet processing: bending, punching, shearing, machining, tapping, drilling
* Resistance welding: stations for various sizes
* CO2 welding: welding stations and robots with dust removal and ventilation/exhaust system
* Assembly, QC (inc. testing lab), packaging, loading and warehousing
