Corporation) was established in November, 1949. It is one of the first foreign trade corporations established after the founding of New China and is now a subsidiary of China National Native Produce and Animal By-Products Import and Export Corporation with an independent legal person status. The corporation mainly handles the import and export of tea, coffee, cocoa and many other commodities with flexible trading patterns. The annual turnover is over 80 million US dollars.
As the reform of China's foreign trade system goes deep, our corporation has gradually turned from the pure trading type into a comprehensive enterprise. We have wholly-owned or share-holding enterprises like: the Fujian Quanzhou Reallong Tea Industrial Company, Ltd., which is located in the main oolong tea producing area, with annual yield of 3000 metric tons of oolong teas; the Zhejiang Kaihua Reallong Tea Industrial Company, Ltd., situated in the main green tea producing area, with its annual processing capacity of 15000 metric tons, comes first in the country's green tea manufacturing enterprises; Shanghai Shende Cocoa Food Company, Ltd., with annual yield of 5000 metric tons of cocoa products; Dalian Kingstar Industrial Company, Ltd., which mainly produces and processes native products; the Beijing tea trade company, which mainly engages itself in the domestic sales of teas, is now gradually developing its own sales network of Reallong Brand teas in the main cities of the country. Abroad, we have trading organizations stationed in Morroco, Russia, Hongkong and other places, trying hard to establish our own sales network, introducing this both ancient and charming natural health drink to the peoples the world over.
