BlueStar Electrical Meter Research Institute, founded as a privately held company in June 1994, has been focusing in designing and manufacturing innovative Electricity Meters, as well as advanced AMR system including Energy Meter Data Logger for utilities revenue, high technology ERTU and J2EE-based and Web-enabled energy information collection and analysis system for Power Generation and Transmission customers. In China, BlueStar has been recognized as one of the leading technology providers for electrical energy metering products.

In the last a few years, Bluestar has grown to be the largest polyphase Multifunction Electricity Meters modules supplier in China; Annually about 40-50% of this kind of products are made by Bluestar. We have sold our meters to many other countries as well, including Asia, Europe and Africa. All BlueStar three-phase and single-phase meters comply fully with IEC standards and are designed for all kinds of severe environments including extreme temperatures and humidity.

BlueStar offers turnkey AMR system solutions which includes multifunction electricity meters, terminal units and new technology based distributed software system TMR-BS07.

Bluestar has a strong research and development team with about 30 Electrical, Mechanical and Computer Science Engineers. We also have a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
