Product Description

Application
The RDH packer is a retrievable hydraulically set production packer used in deep or deviated wells with two string completions. The tool is set by plugging the long workstring below the packer, and then applying pressure to the workstring. After setting, the pressure in the string can be released. The self-locking mechanism inside the tool keeps the tool set reliably and steadily. When unsetting, just need lift the string and shear the shear pin.
Features and benefit

Double slips structure, the lower end is the mechanical slip, which is to prevent the tool from moving downward. The upper end is the hydraulic hold-down slip, when the packer is under a large negative pressure differential, the hydraulic hold-down slip will expand and insert into the casing. The greater the negative pressure, the tighter the hydraulic hold-down slip will be inserted, effectively preventing the packer from moving upward.
The three packer elements structure is adopted, the end of the packer elements are equipped with a molded self-retracting spring, and three packer elements have different hardness, so that the packer element assembly can seal the high pressure differential without affecting the packer unsetting.
The setting pressure is low and the mud pump can provide sufficient setting pressure.
The starting setting pressure can be adjusted by adjusting the number of shear pins.
Directly lifting the workstring to unset.
Suitable for a variety of well conditions.
